Britney Spears

Britney Spears' dad Jamie Spears is reportedly planning to take the singer back home to Louisiana, away from the "bad influences" in Los Angeles.

Jamie was appointed a co-conservator of the star during her hospitalisation in early February and has already restricted her contact with many of her former "bad" friends but is worried that isn't a long-term solution.

A source told the Sun: "Britney has been feeling lonely and isolated since her dad has taken control of her life."

"He hopes to take her back to Louisiana where she will be surrounded by her family. Jamie also hopes it will give her the chance to mend her troubled relationship with her mum and her more recent rift with her pregnant sister."

"And he hopes to keep her away from the negative LA scene and people who've been using her."

Jamie and estate lawyer Andrew Wallet have been granted control over the star until the end of July, or until the singer shows significant improvement in her mental health.

A second source added: "Britney isn't completely opposed to the idea but worries about being so far away from her sons. She knows it'll make visitation sessions more difficult but Jamie is trying to reassure her that it'll make things better in the long run."
